The Status window shows the current status of the backup engine.  From this window, you can quickly view the status of any backup jobs you have scheduled.  You can also use the convenient links to create new backup jobs or stop the backup engine from running.

By default, Backazon installs ready for use, so the engine is already running.  All you have to do is relax and know that your scheduled backup jobs will run securely and quietly in the background.

If the backup engine is not running, then your files will not be copied to the Amazon servers.  We recommend keeping the backup engine running at all times.  While it is running, Backazon will complete any scheduled backup jobs you have scheduled, automatically.  It runs in the background and uses very few resources.

We've gone through the extra effort to ensure that you always have a sense of being in the 'know' when it comes to your backup status and storage.  The Status window is a quick and convenient way, at a glance, for you to check on the status of any scheduled job.  No need to fumble with a printer to review the logs, just a simple click and you'll know exactly what's been backed up, which if any, jobs have failed and which jobs are yet to be run.
