Backazon runs on all versions of Microsoft Windows that support the .NET Framework.
Supported Operating Systems
- Windows 2000 Service Pack 3
- Windows Server 2003 and 2008
- Windows XP Service Pack 2
- Windows Vista Service Pack 1
Required Software
- Microsoft .NET Framework Version 2.0 or higher. This is usually installed automatically as a part of Windows. If you don't have it on your machine, our installer will detect this and help you to download it from Microsoft.
Disk Space Requirements
- For program files: 21 MB
- For configuration, licensing, and logs: 20 MB (minimum recommended)
Other Requirements
- High Speed Internet Connection - 768k (minimum recommended)
- Amazon.com Simple Storage Service Account - all files are stored on the Amazon S3 servers using the customer's account. If you don't have one already, Backazon will help you sign-up for this account
