Traditional Backups versus Online Backups
Backazon was designed and engineered to be the safest, fastest, and easiest way to backup files from your laptops, desktops, and servers.
If you already know why you need to backup, then you may be wondering why you should choose Backazon.

Backazon runs automatically in the background
With Backazon, you get to define Backup Jobs that run automatically on a schedule that you select. Perhaps you want to backup your My Documents folder every day, your accounting files once a month or once a quarter. Backazon makes it easy to do that.
As soon as your computer is turned on, Backazon checks your list of Backup Jobs and begins running the next scheduled job. If there's nothing scheduled, Backazon sits quietly in the background waiting for the next scheduled job.
You don't even need to be logged in to your computer. Backazon runs as a Windows service, so it is always running in the background.
If you want to be sure your backups were completed as expected, just check the Backazon logs. They contain complete information on everything Backazon copied for you.
Unless your backups are done automatically, there's a good chance they'll be forgotten or put off. Backazon runs automatically so you'll never miss another backup and you'll always be protected.

Backazon does not need extra hardware
The traditional way to backup your computer is to use a tape drive or an external hard drive. These can cost hundreds of dollars to setup and maintain.
Even worse, backing up to a tape or external hard drive is only half of a backup. Until you lug the backup tapes/drives to another location, your data is not fully protected.
Backazon uses your high-speed internet connection to copy files to secure servers in the Amazon data centers. It's like storing your data in a bank safety deposit box!
With Backazon, you don't need extra hardware and you don't need to rent a bank safety deposit box. Your data is automatically encrypted before it leaves your computer.

Backazon lets you pay as you grow
Backazon writes your data to your Amazon Simple Storage Service (S3) account. This means that you pay Amazon for uploading, downloading, and storing your data.
Currently, Amazon charges $0.10/gigabyte for uploading, $0.17/gigabyte for downloading, and $0.15/gigabyte/month for storage. And, as new competitors have entered the market, Amazon has been lowering their prices.
This means you can store 10 gigabytes of data on Amazon for only $18 per year. And, if your needs grow, you can increase the amount you store at any time.

Backazon does not "slow down" as your backups grow
Many online backup vendors advertise "unlimited" backups, but don't be deceived by these offers. In order to control their costs, they automatically throttle your upload speed based on how much you've uploaded.
With Backazon, there is no throttling back, because we use the Amazon S3 service. These are the same servers used by Amazon to run their hugely successful online business, and they are configured to run fast while being completely reliable.
Unlike other vendors who advertise "unlimited" backups, Amazon is charging you for every byte you upload, so they have no incentive to slow you down.
Finally, you can backup as much as you want as fast as your internet connection will go.

Backazon moves your data off-site
Unlike backups to tape or disk, Backazon backups are securely stored in two Amazon data centers. This means your data is safe and secure as soon as your Backazon backup is complete.
Fire, flood, and theft can't hurt a Backazon backup because your data has already left the building.

Backazon has a 30 day trial
We think you'll appreciate making fast, reliable backups with Backazon, so we offer a no risk, thirty day trial. During your trial period, you can use all of Backazon's features and backup as much as you want.
You will need an Amazon account, and Amazon will charge you for the data you backup. Most people spend less than a dollar during their trial period.
If you decide to purchase Backazon, everything you've backed up during your trial period will still be there.
